BookScan Station

There’s  a new gadget at the library,  BookScan Station, that scans magazine articles, encyclopedias, and other sources into a digital document.  This machine has a high-speed scanner 11 x 17;  it’s state of the art technology with optical quality scanning.

  • Make a copy of an article and email it to yourself.
  • Copy a photo and save it to a USB drive.
  • Take the digital file and import it into PowerPoint Presentations.
  • Choose the file format PDF, Word, SPDF, HTML, Tiff,  or jpeg when you start the scan.

It’s fast and, best of all, FREE.
