Winning Auditions: 101 Strategies for Actors (2005)
Mark Brandon
A must read for someone who is considering acting as a professional career.
This is not a book of acting technique, but rather of tips like I wish someone had told me not to ever do X at a Y audition. The author shares the experiences of his students, so that the reader might avoid the same foolish or humiliating audition mistakes that blew their chances at several paying jobs. The tips are not only practical, but also take in to account that most aspiring actors have to live in the real world and are probably working at a second job and have little cash to spare.
